I studied silversmithing and jewellery at London Metropolitan University, completing my HND in 2006, when I exhibited at New Designers in Islington. I have since expanded my skills through attending courses covering specialist techniques in metalsmithing.

I am particularly interested in creating surface texture and contrasting finishes, often using mixed metals in my designs, together with granulation and fusing techniques, I have recently been employing the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo, (fusing high carat gold on to the surface of silver), to enhance the simple shapes of my jewellery

I love the process of transforming a flat, smooth piece of metal into something beautiful and sometimes experimentation with a technique will lead to the evolution of a design. At the heart of my designs is a love of nature – leaf skeletons, mosses, fungi and lichens, and there are subliminal traces of this fascination in much of my work.

I sell my work direct, through my Etsy shop and at selected craft fairs.
